What it is
Acoustic Correlation is one of our core technology leak-detection services. Dual-sensor correlators triangulate pressurized pipe leaks with 30cm accuracy over 1km+ pipe runs. We deploy this for BC property owners, facility managers, engineers, and construction professionals, using the same equipment trusted by major insurers and municipalities across British Columbia.
When you need it
- Not sure which technology you need? — Thermal for moisture mapping. Acoustic for pressurized pipe leaks. GPR for underground and slab targets. Tracer gas for complex piping. We help you choose.
- Worried about property damage? — All our technologies are non-invasive. We find leaks without cutting walls, breaking concrete, or demolition.
- Need evidence your insurer accepts? — Our reports include thermal imagery, acoustic data, and moisture maps — accepted by every major BC insurer.
- Want to understand the technology? — We publish detailed technical specs, applications, limitations, and comparison data for every method we use.
- Not sure if a leak exists? — Flow analysis, permanent monitoring, and acoustic surveys can confirm or rule out leaks without any invasive work.
How we do it
Our certified technicians arrive with state-of-the-art equipment: thermal imaging cameras, acoustic correlators, ground-penetrating radar, and tracer gas. Every job starts with a brief on-site assessment, followed by non-invasive testing to pinpoint the source — typically within inches.
You receive a detailed written report including findings, moisture maps, equipment used, and recommendations for next steps. Reports are formatted for insurance claims, strata councils, and engineering review as needed.
Other services you might need
- Thermal ImagingFLIR-grade infrared cameras detect temperature differentials from moisture in walls, ceilings, slabs, and façades.
- Ground Penetrating RadarMulti-frequency GPR (200MHz-1.6GHz) for subsurface imaging, concrete scanning, and utility locating.
- Tracer Gas Detection5% hydrogen / 95% nitrogen mix detects leaks that other methods can't find. PPM-level sensitivity.
- Drone Thermal ImagingAerial thermal surveys for roofs, façades, and large properties — no scaffolding required.
